GTR1400 Motorcycle Seat Modifications

Hi Bill just a quick update on my GTR which you did the seat on last October before I rode to thE GP. The seat is brilliant mate,got my feet closer to the ground which was all I was after but the ergonomics of the bike has changed considerably since you modified the seat. I rode 5400 kls in ten days and was only tempted to use my air hawk seat twice, both times it came back off and into the top box at the next stop. So the comfort you sculpted into that standard seat is amazing as you know I had lowered pegs which helped with my knees etc but was scraping them on the twisties so took them off when I got back to try for a couple of short trips. Next day dad got ill in Port Macquarrie so had to ride 600 klm that day with std height pegs and had no problem with knees hips etc. I have done a few thousand kls now at std height an wont be going back. I must tell you if you'd said I'd get all these improvements just by having my seat custom fitted li wouldn't hav believed you but the proofs in the pudding. Once again thanks for a job well done.

another GTR 1400 seat

A fantastic transformation of the stock 1400 GTR Kawasaki seat except by sitting on the seat it looks OEM Kawasaki but the comfort has increased remarkably,I would recommend this modification to anyone experiencing discomfort on long rides

Comments: Hi Bill Just done 2500 klms on the BMW R1200RT, what a difference you have made to the riding pleasure the seat is just a delight now .We rode 500klms a day before you worked your magic on the seat i was lucky to be able to do 200 without pain and discomfort, well done Bill I have now so much pleasure riding , and the seat heater works a treat as well. As a matter of interest one of the other riders with the same bike had his seat done with someone in Brisbane, they told him that they could not do it as they had to destroy the heater element, he did not beleive me that I had mine done and the heater still works Thank very much Bill cheers Robert McNeill

KLX150 Seat Shave

12/08/2024 Bill did a fantastic job on my dirt bike seat it was originally too tall, he managed to shave the foam down into a low seat and recover the seat with a custom seat cover.
